Project: Advertising Campaign

Marketing directly to the gay community was considered radical at the time, and the campaigns generated a fair amount of media coverage in publications such as the LA Times and Blitz magazine, above. Years later, there is much debate about the corporatization of Pride and how much is too much, but at the time such advertising marked a positive change in general attitudes towards gay and lesbian issues. I was proud to be a part of that change.
